Postmodern Italian Marcuso coffee table in glass by Marco Zanuso for Zanotta, 1960s.

Vintage design. Heavy glass coffee table by the Italian manufacturer Zanotta, based on a design by Marco Zanuso from the late 1960s. A classic of Italian design. The design is appealing due to its simple geometry and high-quality materials. The table consists of four round metal legs with a glass top. The solid clear glass top has a thickness of 15 mm. The large radii of the corners harmonise with the large diameter of the legs. The legs are cylindrical and made of stainless steel, glued to the glass top set back from the edge. The round metallic adhesive surface is framed by a black joint. The bottom of the legs has plastic pads that create a play of shadow and visually lift the table off the ground. The table is marked with engravings. It is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina, including scratches on the glass surface.
