This compact table, often referred to as a "thread table", was made in Denmark during the 1960s. It is constructed from teak wood in a warm shade of brown. It features a drawer and a pull-out wicker basket. The base consists of straight legs. It can serve its primary function as a tailor's table, but it can also be used as... Just a table! Designed in a minimalist style characteristic of the Scandinavian design of the mid-century modern era. The table is in original vintage condition. It shows signs of age, with minor abrasions on the veneer and scratches. The handle on the side was likely added later. The width of the top, excluding the handle, is 63 cm.
