Vintage reproduction after Jean-Jacques Audubon, ornithology, Diving duck

Vintage reproduction on cardboard paper of the work of the naturalist Jean-Jacques Audubon. Audubon's (1785-1851) ambition was to represent birds in their natural environment and in attitudes full of life. This is a high quality print reissue of an 1834 plate from the 19th century masterpiece of American naturalist art "Birds of America". This board represents the species "fuligula stelleri" (diving duck). It is offered framed and measures 52 cm by 42 cm with the frame. We offer several of these boards in our selency store.
