Vintage reproduction after Jean-Jacques Audubon, ornithology, Puffin Crested

Vintage reproduction on card stock of the work of naturalist jean-jacques audubon. The ambition of audubon (1785-1851) was to represent birds in their natural environment and in attitudes full of life. It is a high-quality print reissue of an 1834 plate of the 19th century masterpiece of naturalist american art "birds of america". This plate represents the species "mormon cirrhatus" (crested puffin). It is proposed framed and measures 52 cm by 42 cm with the frame. We offer several of these boards in our selency shop.
