Sabine Charoy. Verre & Lumière Publishing, France. Modernist table lamp, circa 1975-1985. Structure in brushed stainless steel forming an architectural base that supports a double asymmetrical cylindrical reflector. Peripheral indirect light diffusion producing a soft and uniform illumination, characteristic of the research conducted by Sabine Charoy for high-end tertiary interior architecture at the end of the 20th century. This type of luminaire was intended for the design of architects' offices, corporate headquarters, and high-end modernist interiors as part of the semi-industrial productions of the Verre & Lumière company, which Sabine Charoy led the design office for. French manufacturing in small series. Functional electricity, switch replaced. Presence of slight internal oxidation marks related to age, not visible in lighting conditions. Very beautiful original patina. France, circa 1980.
