Blomknyte glass vase by Rune Strand for SEA Sweden, 1970s

Elegant vintage vase in handcrafted Swedish glass published by SEA Glasbruk – SEA of Sweden. This Blomknyte model, attributed to designer Rune Strand, dates from the late 1970s. Its organic silhouette resembles a small glass bag delicately cinched: a generously rounded base extends into a tapered neck before flaring out gracefully. The transparent glass, intentionally irregular and textured, captures light particularly well. The piece retains its interesting original label "Handmade by SEA of Sweden." Dimensions: H. 14 × Ø base 9.5 cm Opening: Ø 6 cm. In very good vintage condition, without chips, cracks, or missing parts. A lovely small piece of Scandinavian design from the 1970s, decorative both empty and with a few flowers or a dried branch.
