Set of 5 Art Deco 1920s shooter glasses in coloured and uranium glass - ouraline.

This beautiful set of 5 alcoholic glasses is made of coloured and uranium glass. These Art Deco glasses are cut glass with flat ribs. They are shooters for strong spirits. In blue, pink, orange, burgundy, and dichroic yellow in ouraline, these glasses date from the 1920s and are presented on a chrome metal stand. Ouraline is a uranium glass with a characteristic green-yellow colour. Uranium glass has been known since the 19th century, and its production was banned in the 1940s. Many objects were made from ouraline during this period for the originality of its dichroic yellow-green colour. These glasses measure 7 cm in height and 3.2 cm in diameter at the rim. They all show a chip or a crack.
