Pair of folding chairs Lafuma model Chantazur from before 1968

These two chairs have surely been a lot of trips and holidays, but they deserve to live still wonderful adventures. They have a lot of assets! These are folding chairs lafuma, model chantazur, which, when folded, have a minimal footprint (only 5 or 6 cm thick, they slip everywhere!). In addition, they date back to before 1968: it is attested by the label still present on the frames, where one can read the words "patented s.g.d.g", a reference that disappeared in 1968. We also see a difference in structure with similar models: the presence of a reinforcement bar that also acts as a foot rest and gives a nice design to the chair, even folded. And small detail that has its charm: the fabric of the back is studded. The structure is made of gold tubular metal, the seat and back are padded and covered with a mustard-coloured (original) striped fabric. These chairs are still strong and stable. They are in good structural condition but show all the signs of their 50s well packed: various spots and scratches and traces of rust (superficial) on the structures. The fabric is stained and removed from both seats and has two snags on one. The foam padding still looks in an acceptable state, not too crowded. You can easily do a small repair of the fabric to use these chairs as they are, but the ideal would be to retap them to give them a new life... Eternal, or at least fifty years! I cleaned them in broad outlines: rag with cleanser on the structure, but I did not leach the fabrics. Unfolded, these chairs measure 80 cm in height at the back, the footprint is 46 cm wide and 44 cm deep. The seat is about 43 cm high. When folded, they are 5 or 6 cm thick, 96 cm long and 46 cm wide. They weigh about 4 kg each.
