Workshop stool in antique patinated solid wood

The stool is in very good condition, it is rather stable, and all assemblies are solid. It was made by some skilled handyman, and the construction is both simple and clever. The top and the headband were cut from boards. The top in a fir board 2.5 cm thick. The four sides of the headband were cut from fir planks also, 1.5 cm thick. The legs are made of solid wood, slightly tapered, square in section, about 3 cm on each side. All the elements have been nailed, and the assemblies do not move. The top has been pierced with an oval, which acts as a handle, and allows the stool to be moved easily, according to needs. This is probably a unique piece. The stool was painted a long time ago, an off-white "fresh butter", and has retained its original paint, which has peeled and worn over time, creating a beautiful authentic patina. This patina, which gives a crazy charm to the stool, has been protected by a natural beeswax, very easy to maintain. It will be enough to rub it from time to time with a soft cloth.
