Scandinavian modernist rocking chair in teak, Denmark 1960.

Very beautiful and interesting Danish armchair from around 1960. Completely in the Scandinavian modernist style, it is referred to as a "suspended cradle", meaning that the monobloc composed of the seat and backrest can pivot within the solid teak structure, giving the sensation of floating within the frame and thus offering 2 possible heights for the armchair (see photos). The seat and backrest have been completely refurbished by an upholsterer specifically for sale and covered in a very nice natural ecru boucle fabric that reflects the decor style of that era while adding a lot of modernity. Height of the backrest is 69 cm in position 1 and 77 cm in position 2, height of the seat is 36 cm in position 1 and 44 cm in position 2, width is 56 cm, depth is 69 cm. In perfect condition, this cute and original little armchair, which is space-saving, will be perfect for a child's room.
