18th century walnut chest of drawers

Pretty louis XV chest of drawers in walnut opening onto a curved façade by 3 molded drawers. It rests on curved forefeet. The hind feet are straight. The top with chantourné edges (assembly with mortise studs typical of the 18th century) reveals small scratches and roughness of use on the waxed tray (normal state for a piece of furniture of this period). Still on the plateau, a restoration strip, certainly very old, is perfectly made and even highlights a natural knot of the wood that gives the object its character and specificity. The wood worked. The drawers decorated with moldings in high relief with a dovetail assembly typical of the 18th century. The inside of the drawers is sheathed with a natural tone burlap.
