‘Magazine’ 2 seater by Michael Young, UK, 1994

Two-seater sofa 'Magazine' designed in 1994 by Michael Young and produced by E & Y CO. in the United Kingdom. The Magazine sofa and easy chairs became very popular in Japan and won the Best UK Design Award in 1996. The sturdy aluminium frame supports a polyurethane foam seat and armrests covered with black vinyl leather. The organic open space under the seat can be used for magazine storage, hence the name of this original piece. In very good condition. A single one-seater from the same series is also available.
