A sculptural porcelain ashtray from the 1970s, featuring a striking contrast between its rough, matt exterior and smooth, glazed interior. The irregularly textured exterior is reminiscent of hewn stone or tree bark, lending the white porcelain a particularly three-dimensional, almost brutalist effect. The round inner bowl is fully glazed and surrounded by four wide cigarette rests. Thanks to its bold, compact shape, the ashtray works just as well today as a small vide-poche or a decorative object on a sideboard or coffee table. DETAILS Manufacturer / Designer: unknown.
