Pair of Kroken armchairs by Ake Fribyter for sale. Elegant and comfortable Kroken armchairs designed in 1974 by Ake Fribyter, a Swedish architect and interior designer born in 1922 and deceased in 1998. He worked for Carl Malmsten in the early 1950s and, with Ingvar Carlsson, created the Mysengen furniture series in 1961. The seat is made of multi-bent beechwood stained in wenge, with a leather upholstery stretched and attached to the frame with webbing. Very comfortable and sturdy, these armchairs are timeless and complement any interior style. This anniversary edition was produced in 2004 to celebrate 30 years since the release of this timeless armchair. Completely restored without altering the patina and original beauty of this armchair.
