Pair of Italian 1980s Burgundy Wall Sconces

Elegant pair of Italian wall sconces dating from the 1980s, finished in a rich burgundy red with brass-coloured details and elongated frosted glass shades. The sculptural design has a distinctly postmodern / late 20th-century Italian character, combining rounded forms, warm metallic accents and softly diffused light. The original label on the reverse indicates Italian production and reads “ART. CH 5 – ROSSO – 1x max 40W – 230V.” Each lamp measures approximately 31 × 12 × 19 cm. The sconces are in good vintage condition with some age-related wear, including light scratches, small paint losses and minor marks to the glass, all shown in the photographs. These traces of use do not detract from their overall appearance and are consistent with their age. A striking decorative pair, particularly suited to eclectic, postmodern or richly layered interiors. Sold as a pair.
