A stunning find for this three-drawer solid oak chest of drawers, a true centrepiece with a bold aesthetic. Fully restored, it has been stripped back to reveal the original beauty of its wood: a light, luminous, and textured oak with superb grain and a very contemporary raw touch. This Art Deco chest of drawers perfectly plays with contrasts. We love its straight, massive, and robust lines mixed with the corner brackets of its drawers. Sumptuous roses sculpted directly into the wood are highlighted by a dark patina that gives an incredible graphic depth to the front. Original patinated metal handles beautifully complete its poetic look. With its three deep and spacious drawers, it offers ideal storage volume for a bedroom, an entrance, or a warm living room. The piece has been fully treated, cleaned, and left raw. Its drawers slide perfectly. An antique and sound piece, it shows some minor signs of use in the wood that confer all its authenticity and history. Note a small scratch on the top. We love to imagine it in a child's room or in the master bedroom. It would also be stunning in an entrance or repurposed as a washstand.
