Lady Vase

From a collection created around the theme of the body through the living model, the madame vase was created during an artistic residency. The designer wanted to navigate between idealization and reality, by revisiting the issues around harmony and perfection, often associated with the female body presented as an ideal. The vase is then seen as a sculpture, highlighting soft, harmonious shapes free from any schematization. This vase is a unique piece, shaped by hand by modeling, then fired a first time in biscuit at 980 ° c. It is then enameled inside and out before a second firing in earthenware at 1100 ° c. This temperature allows its beige and shiny color to be preserved. The madame vase must be used with caution, for decorative purposes, and only with dried flowers. The watertightness of the vase is not guaranteed due to the chosen firing temperature.
