Folding magazine rack attributed to Cees Braakman, an iconic designer of Dutch modernism, produced in the 1950s–1960s. This compact, rare model stands out for its ingenious cross structure allowing for complete folding, as well as its clean design typical of Scandinavian design. The structure made of varnished solid wood features an elegant arrangement of cylindrical rods forming two compartments, paired with a central panel with rounded vertical cutouts, a sober and functional visual signature. Dimensions (folded): approximately 52 X 39 cm. Practical size, ideal for discreet storage or daily use. The item is in good used condition, with a uniform patina. There are some wear marks on the varnish and visible superficial scratches, particularly on the central panel, consistent with the age of the piece and not affecting its sturdiness or usability.
