Large round stoneware serving platter from Digoin with a blue rose motif

A superb round serving platter, made by the renowned French brand Digoin in the early 20th century. The platter is made of off-white stoneware and decorated in the center with a beautiful blue rose. In good vintage condition, the platter shows no cracks or chips. As one would expect from a ceramic piece that has seen frequent use, the surface shows some scratches and firing marks. The platter has a diameter of 30 cm and weighs 800 g without packaging.
