It charms with its soft lines and rich carved decoration of flowers, rosettes, and vegetal scrolls, characteristic of this period. The headboard posts, tall and finely carved, bring a beautiful verticality to the whole. The head and foot of the bed feature floral relief decoration, highlighted by crosspieces that enhance the elegance of the silhouette. The warm grain of the walnut and its beautiful original patina showcase the quality of the cabinetmaking. The bed is in generally good condition. Notably, there are two discreet old restorations on the carved elements of the posts, visible in the photographs, without affecting the solidity or the overall aesthetics of the piece.
