Large decorative bowl on a pedestal in cobalt blue porcelain, enhanced with gilded metal mounts. The bowl features a wide, shallow basin, highlighted by a gilded metal rim, as well as a central openwork medallion with floral decoration. The pedestal is also encircled with gilded metal. The underside bears a yellow relief mark, with a central B between two intertwined Ls, reminiscent of historical Sèvres marks. This mark should be regarded as a Sèvres-style/pseudo-Sèvres mark, rather than a certain attribution to the Sèvres Manufacture. The construction and assembly are consistent with French decorative production from the late 19th century, around 1880–1900. Good antique condition, with signs of use, slight surface scratches, and wear/patina on the metal mounts, visible in the photographs. Dimensions. Ø 28 cm. H 18 cm. Weight 1.55 kg.
