A true testament to modernist ceramic design and the Fat Lava / West German Pottery era, this triptych captivates with its expressive graphic aesthetic and textured glazing work in shades of blue-grey and black. Each rectangular panel is curved and features a distinct hand-painted motif: The Sunflowers in vibrant yellow and turquoise hues. The Rearing Horse with powerful, contrasting lines. The Stylised Bird / Wading Bird inspired by modernism. Original suspension holes integrated into the mass on the back, ready to be hung by a wire or hook. In beautiful vintage condition with a superb patina. There are very minor chips/very discreet glaze skips on the outer edges of two panels (visible in the detail photos), completely normal and consistent with the age and use of these collectible ceramics. No major cracks, solid structure.
