Chairs in formica and chrome metal

Here is a lovely pair of Formica and chrome metal chairs straight out of the 1960s. The colour is difficult to capture in photos; it is an orange-red, pink-red, depending on the light, with vermilion perhaps being the closest description to reality. They feature an elegant, lightweight design, thanks to their tapered legs. They are in generally good condition for their age, sturdy, with no discolouration of the Formica (the reflections in the photos), no stains, and functional black plastic pads. However, they do show signs of their age and use: small chips on the Formica and pitting or corrosion on the metal at the bottom of the legs, as well as on the screws that hold the backs (you can unscrew and remove them with steel wool). These minor defects are not excessively visible; there is no pitting on the chrome metal uprights of the backs, and the pitting is more pronounced on the inner faces of the legs than on the visible faces. Therefore, in my opinion, these chairs are perfectly usable in a home or restaurant with a vintage spirit. They measure 81 cm in total height, 44 cm in seat height, 37 cm in maximum width (at the seat), and approximately 45 cm in maximum depth.
