Pair of armchairs by André Simard, 1950s-60s

Very beautiful pair of armchairs circa 1960. Very rare model with wooden legs, here in stained teak, by the Quebec designer André Simard (see stamp on the frame). Note the beautiful cabinetmaking work of the front legs with 3 cut sides as well as the V-shaped crosspiece. Entirely redone by an upholsterer especially for their sale, the armchairs have been covered with a very beautiful slightly mottled ecru natural velvet fabric. Height of the backrest 72 cm, of the seat in front 35 cm, in back 30 cm, width 60 cm and depth 68 cm. Of very high quality, by their refined design, these 2 armchairs will find their place in all decors. They will bring a crazy class to a living room or a bedroom.
