Charming glass-fronted Art Nouveau library dating from the early 20th century, originating from a master house in Nancy, made of solid wood, probably walnut. This piece captivates with the elegance of its lines, the quality of its grain, and its delicate marquetry decorations. The two glass doors provide ample storage capacity while showcasing books, tableware, collectibles, or decorative items. The panels feature a stunning natural wood pattern, while the geographical inlays, fluted columns, and tapered feet reflect meticulous craftsmanship. The library is in very good overall condition and retains a beautiful original patina. To be completely transparent: one door is slightly warped, but this does not hinder its use; it is lockable, and the bottom of the back panel shows old signs of woodworm, though the wood has been treated and is now healthy and stable. Height 162 cm, Width 89 cm (93 cm with cornice), Depth 40 cm (42 cm with cornice). An elegant and authentic piece that will find its place in a living room or office, suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors.
