This set of 4 'Saparella' armchairs was designed and produced by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset in France in 1965. A true masterpiece of modular sofa design, the Saparella, with its slanted lines and beautiful deep blue fabric, is a modular sofa made up of four independent seats, allowing for playful volume arrangements. You can customise the seating layout according to your space and style. The metal buttons are used to couple these armchairs with a diabolo-shaped Saparella armchair (not in stock). Ideal for a lounge area, living room, or lounge space, as these models are quite low. The plush fabric is new, professionally reupholstered in Belgium. The original striped fabric from Ligne Roset on the underside (normally not visible) has been preserved and shows some stains. These seats are very low, and the inner foam may feel a bit softer with the years, so getting up from these armchairs is not so easy. But they are comfortable and very beautiful, so why leave? Overall in good condition. Ducaroy became famous with his Togo line, but the Saparella is just as lightweight, making it very easy to move and a unique opportunity for those looking for something rarer and special. We are selling these seats for 1000 euros each or 3750 euros for the set.
