PS System wall unit with vinyl records cabinet and expository shelf, Rander

This elegant mid-century shelving unit with a vinyl records cabinet was designed by Preben Sorensen for PS System and manufactured in Randers, Denmark, in the 1960s, in the very same period as Poul Cadovius's designs, and it presents the same Danish mid-century quality. Overall set size is H: 200 / W: 242 / D: 40 cm. The set includes a vinyl records cabinet offering generous storage for your favorite LPs, magazines, or pictures, while several open shelves, including an expository one, provide ample space for books and decorative objects. The drop-down door cabinet may serve as a bar cabinet to hide your favorite bottles and glass, or while hanging lower, as a hidden desk. Mastery of Danish mid-century craftsmanship is shown in rich-grained teak veneer and brass details. The modular construction allows flexible arrangements and effortless adaptation to individual needs. Each element can be adjusted, placed higher or lower, or reconfigured to achieve the desired composition. The shown setup is just an example.  The set includes: Drop-down cabinet: H: 40 / W: 80 / D: 35 cm, depth with door open 70 cm, Vinyl records cabinet H: 40 / W: 80 / D: 40 cm (partitions every 11.5 cm), 10 shelves: 20 cm depth, An expository shelf 32 cm depth, 4 teak montage rails, each 200 cm long, Brass hangers and pins. The unit has been carefully renovated. The wood has been cleaned and protected with several thin layers of satin lacquer. Barss hardware has been cleaned and the old brass screws have been exchanded for new ones. All components fit properly and are fully functional. Overall in perfect condition.
