Exceptional collector's item: Burmantofts Faience vase (Leeds, England), circa 1880. This vase stands out for its sculptural organic shape and its intense "Oxblood" glaze (deep red). Adorned with raised solar motifs, it reflects the transition between the Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau movements. Authenticity: Signed "BF", model 990. Condition: Perfect overall condition. No chips or cracks whatsoever. The glaze exhibits a superb shine, with very light micro-scratches from use and a few tiny original firing spots, characteristic of the handcrafted production of the late 19th century, which attest to its authenticity. Dimensions: H 21 cm / W 16 cm. A rare and historic piece for the discerning collector.
