Console

Massive cherry draper type console, open with 2 drawers. Delicately sculpted with feet turned and fluted. It was treated for xylophages and plugged holes. The marble that covered the top of the console had to be removed because of its very poor condition (holes, shards, missing, breaks...) and replaced. The console has been consolidated (back and shelf) to allow it to face its second life and the back has been painted in the same way to allow it to be placed against a wall, or not... It is repainted with little greene's painting®, intelligent mat's true taupe color no. 240. Matte paint with a voc level of less than 1g/litre and compliant with the toy safety directive. The sculptures are enhanced with gold wax. The gold drawer buttons are original. It will always find its place, in the entrance, the kitchen or the living room. This is an old piece of furniture, carefully restored. It may, however, show some traces of time that could not disappear, but which do not call into question its solidity or appearance. But it is also what makes its charm inimitable.
