Magnificent little vintage tripod stool from the mid-century, offering a superb contrast between rustic craftsmanship and a touch of modern, bold colour. The thick and comfortable seat is covered in handwoven Kilim brocade fabric, featuring a geometric vertical stripe pattern. The colour palette is warm and natural, with cream, olive green, burnt orange, and black tones. The lower edge of the seat is elegantly adorned with original aged brass upholstery nails. They securely hold the fabric while adding a timeless retro charm. The structure is supported by three robust cylindrical legs made of solid wood, finished in a bright red lacquer that subtly reveals the natural grain of the wood. Although it appears round from the front, the seat reveals a clever oval D-shape. Thanks to its shallow depth, this compact piece takes up very little space. It is perfect as a footrest next to an armchair, an entryway stool, extra seating in the living room, or as a unique plant stand. The vintage condition is excellent, the fabric is clean, well-stretched, with no tears or stains. The structure is perfectly stable and solid.
