Géo Martel plate with royal coat of arms

Georges martel, known as géo martel, took over the earthenware of desvres in 1900, he recruited artists such as the ceramist georges charlet or the painter and sculptor giovanni léonardi. The earthenware of desvres acquires its fame through the reproduction "handmade" of pieces and decorations of the most famous earthenware makers (delft, rouen, moustiers...) This plate with in its center a coat of arms composed of lilies and a crown is painted by hand, so unique, it is part of the géo martel series made at the hiereville earthenware factory. It is in perfect condition, a small thread is placed to hang them. Very decorative thanks to its beautiful colors it can be placed inside your living room, notice to collectors... Width 24.5 cm.
