Glazed stoneware dish – France, mid-20th century

Large glazed stoneware dish, signed on the base Grès de l’Étang, France. Stylised floral decoration hand-painted in soft tones on a lightly speckled light background. The rim is highlighted with a brown glaze, adding depth and contrast to the whole. Generous size, suitable for serving flat or as decoration. Diameter: approximately 36 cm. Condition: very good overall condition.
