Cocoon chandelier, designed by Friedel Wauer for Goldkant Leuchten in Germany in the 1960s, features a very particular shape due to its complex internal structure. Goldkant Leuchten was established in the aftermath of the Second World War, founded in 1946 under the name Cocoon-Leuchten International. The visionary Fritz "Friedel" Wauer, to whom FLOS attributes the invention of the revolutionary technique of applying materials to iron structures, was inspired by the natural process of the silkworm's "self-wrapping." This is how the name "cocoon" was born. This splendid chandelier is equipped with a single socket (E27). The electrical system has been revised, and this chandelier is ready to be installed. Reflector height: 23cm Diameter: 40cm Height with cable: 75cm. Delivery worldwide.
