With its raised edges and sharp angles, this adorable little cabaret table from the louis XV period testifies to the spread of this style in the kingdom. While the aristocracy and the big bourgeoisie chose for their furniture the most beautiful mahogany, the petty nobility and the more modest fortunes preferred exotic wood of local woods such as walnut. With its small drawer in belt and its lovely baluster feet, this small cabaret table is a discreet piece of furniture but full of charm, of excellent quality and indispensable in any interior, classic or modern.
