Pair of Mid-century modern "Bunny" armchairs with footstool, J. Chierowski, 1970's, Polish

A true icon of the polish people's republic, the "bunny" chair (named after the shape of its armrest) has been designed by the famous jozef chierowski. It is a perfect example of the simple, dynamic lines that shape midcentury modern furniture. The set is completed with a matching footstool. The armchairs underwent complete, professional restoration. The solid wood frame has been stripped back, hand polished and waxed to its original shine and colour. The armchairs have been reupholstered with a truly unique fabric: this durable, plush fabric features the outlines of r2d2 (star wars) in a geometric pattern on a blue background: -).
