Bohemian art glass vase by Josef Hospodka for Chřibská Glassworks, 1960s

A fine example of a modern mid-century art glass vase designed by Josef Hospodka and produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s. The vase features a fluid sculptural silhouette with rich tones of amber and green encased in thick clear glass. It is an excellent example of expressive studio glass design from the Czech Republic, associated with the famous glassworks of Chribska. Its elegant organic shape and vibrant colour combination make it a striking decorative centrepiece and a highly collectible design object.
