The vase was made in the 1960s, produced by the German manufactory Strehla. A slender, elongated form with a characteristic integrated handle, typical of Strehla Keramik designs. The surface is covered with contrasting “lava” glaze in black and white, complemented by geometric panels in green and burgundy, giving the piece a distinctly graphic, modernist character. The decoration, based on simple divisions and strong lines, reflects the aesthetics of the 1960s, where form and pattern were equally important. A striking example of East German ceramics — visually bold and highly decorative. Condition: The item is preserved in its original state and may show minor scratches and normal signs of use. Technical data. Height: 20.5 cm. Width: 8 cm. Depth: 8 cm.
