Large pair of wall sconces with winged caryatids in Empire style - gilded bronze

Superb pair of large Empire-style wall sconces. Made in the second half of the 20th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding in very good condition with a lovely patina of time. The wall part is decorated with a winged caryatid, holding an amphora. The light arms are decorated with pine cones and friezes of palmettes. The decorations are finely chiselled.
