Art Deco towel rack

Pretty towel rack in a style largely reminiscent of the codes of Art Deco, thanks to the contrast between the straight lines of the gold metal fixing plates and the curves of the racks formed by tubular rods with rounded corners. These racks are made of metal coated, it seems to me, with black bakelite. It probably dates from the 50s. It is in good general condition, still very solid, but does not hide its age: marks and scratches on the bakelite and a larger lack (1 cm by 0.5 cm approximately) but which is located under the largest tube, so invisible once the towel rack is fixed to the wall. The golden metal was probably brighter originally, today it is patinated, a little veiled. It measures 51 cm in length, 12.5 cm in width, and the maximum advance from the fixing surface is 15.5 cm. It weighs about 500g.
