Frosted glass box model coppélia by lalique france

This oval-shaped frosted glass box is the "coppélia" model made by lalique. Flowers in bas-reliefs decorate the visible faces of the polished glass. The hinge which is made of gold metal is in perfect working order. Light trace of wear and signature engraved "lalique france" below the box. Very good condition. W: 17 cm. D: 13.2 cm. H: 9 cm. --- Maison lalique was founded by the french master glassmaker and jewelry designer, rené lalique. The house manufactures and distributes pieces in different fields: decorative objects, interior architecture, jewelry, perfumes and pieces of art and is all the more famous for its emblematic vases, which are still handmade in the manufacture ofwingen-sur-moder (alsace, france), opened by rené lalique in 1922. It is the only lalique production site in the world.
