Elegant light fixture made from an ovoid stoneware vase by Atelier Primavera, the famous art studio of the Printemps department stores, in collaboration with the Sainte-Radegonde factory. The decoration is attributed to Marguerite Lehmann-Gustalla. Against a background of sandy beige stoneware, two stylised birds in mid-flight stand out in intense cobalt blue, while the other side displays a powerful vegetal rosette with brown-black corollas and fan-shaped foliage. The richness of the glazes, featuring electric blues, deep blacks with coppery edges, and amber browns, gives the piece a pictorial dimension that varies with the light. Signed "FRANCE" in relief under the base. The original equipment is preserved, with its Art Deco chrome socket with chain switch, brown wire, and black Bakelite plug. Ceramics in very good condition, with original firing chips under the base, and a patina of time on the electrical components. A luminous sculpture for collectors, ideal for enhancing a refined interior.
