This product comes from the mountains of the high atlas and made from alternating patterns of virgin wool consisting of a single knot and one or two woven lines. These unique traditional berber carpets are distinguished by their abstract reflections and the techniques have been transmitted from mother to daughter of the tribes a bouzid, shokmane, bougamez and bou oulli. Each carpet tells the story of the woman who woven it, a symbolic language that covers everything from femininity, spirituality, rural life, motherhood, marriage and childbirth.
