Small side table (or coffee table) in fir, from Haut-Aragon. (Spain) This table, originally placed under (or next to) a higher table, was used to place a brazier and therefore to warm the people sitting nearby. This is the explanation for the burn marks (or use!) on the top. Assembly and production of the simple, practical and functional set, typical of the rural folk art of this region, on the model of the "tocineras". (Tables which were used for the processing of pork). Entirely washed, treated and nourished with linseed oil, left finish and natural wood color. Dimensions 58 X 43 X height 50 cm.
