Table lamp in solid brass with a vintage 1970s glass globe.

Beautiful lamp made of solid brass with a tinted bubble glass globe. It dates from the 1960s-70s judging by the fittings. The cable/switch/socket system was replaced at that time, in any case. The lamp has been disassembled, cleaned, and is ready for use. The base of the lamp is therefore made of quite heavy and thick solid brass. There are a few minimal marks on the brass (I mention this as a matter of principle, but they are not noticeable...). The globe is made of moulded and bubbled glass with a brown/orange glass decoration that was very fashionable at the time. I replaced the globe's retaining spring for safety (the old one was too corroded and did not seem secure). E14 socket for any suitable LED or standard bulb (I left the standard 25W bulb inside for example). Height 38cm -- Base diameter 12cm -- Globe diameter 15cm -- Weight of the lamp 1.7 kgs.
