Painting

Very beautiful painting made in oil on embedded canvas (period - late 19th century, dated 1894), depicting a river under wood at the edge of a stone bridge. The work is signed (to be deciphered: ch. Lizars or approaching... Dedicated to friend aubert). Very nice state of preservation: note two old restorations invisible from the front. The pictorial layer is healthy, the canvas well stretched. The work is sold with its period frame (some trace of wear minimal, quite heavy). Chassis size: 33 / 42 cm (6f format), with frame: 54 / 64 cm.
