Suite of 6 Cuban Mahogany chairs, Restoration period – Early 19th century

These cuban mahogany chairs rest on front legs, called jacob (constricted ringed baluster legs) and rear saber legs. Each sober belt highlights a traditional squared seat, made up of straps, horsehair and springs, covered in a studded fabric in pastel colors with flower decorations. The so-called cathedral openwork backs, ending in a point, each have three spindles and two half columns attached to the uprights.
