Crab Barbotine Condiment Set

Condiment set in slip – maison vallauris – vintage seaside magnificent condiment set in slip, typical of maison vallauris, emblematic of the ceramic know-how of the south of france. This set is composed of several original and charming elements, inspired by the marine world: • a crab serving as a mustard container (with its lid) • a mussel serving as a salt shaker • a starfish as a pepper shaker • all presented on a large shell-shaped tray the colors are vibrant, the details worked, and the whole is in very good condition, without chips or cracks. This set was sold to me by a lady full of memories, who told me that it sat on all the festive tables of her childhood, adding a touch of fantasy and sunshine to each meal. A rare piece, as decorative.
