Barovier & Toso Large Ceiling Light Flower in Murano Glass Millefiori, Italy, 1960s

A decorative and charming floral ceiling light / lamp, Mille Fiori multicoloured, from the 1960s, handmade in Murano, Venice, Italy. This Venetian beauty has a diameter of 18" and features a white-painted metal wire basket in a bowl shape, completely covered with overlapping hand-blown Murano glass flowers. The flowers are made of clear glass and clear glass with gold inclusions, creating a refined play of light and texture. Each flower is finished with a small multicoloured button in its centre, in delicate pastel tones — a subtle yet distinctive detail that enhances the composition. The fixture contains three light sources and will be rewired to meet the electrical standards of the buyer's region (E26 for the USA or E27 for Europe). In very good original condition, fully functional and undamaged. A well-preserved example of mid-century Murano craftsmanship, offering soft and diffused light. Diameter 18", height 6".
