Rare small antique table made of solid chestnut, likely dating from the 19th century, a period when this type of quality peasant furniture was crafted in the French provinces. Its turned legs with generous curves and its simple line make it an authentic piece, both functional and decorative. Materials: solid chestnut. Features: this table with round legs and gentle curves is equipped with a drawer featuring a metal knob (original). Renovation: this antique table has been completely sanded to remove the green paint it was covered with, revealing its soft hue and lovely natural patina. It has then been washed. Its top has been protected with a clear matte varnish, while the base remains in natural wood. Condition: sound, sturdy, and stable on its legs. Dimensions: L79 X D56 X H71.
