Very beautiful small stoneware vase in oxblood glaze with grey/celadon nuances, workshop work of unknown origin, Asian-inspired, vintage mid-20th century, around the 1950s-1970s. Beautiful elongated oval shape finished with a short neck and flat lip, while the upper part of the body features a decoration of slightly twisted vertical ribs. Very high quality craftsmanship, particularly fine and well-mastered clay, with a thickness of about 3 to 4mm. Stamped under the base with a stylised "M" or "W", to be identified. Studio pottery, in the style of La Borne. Height 18cm, maximum diameter approximately 11cm. Very good overall condition, no chips or cracks. Approximately 450-500g.
